In-Home Chicago Cat Photography Sessions
Your cat has two versions: the one strangers see, and the real one. I photograph the real one — at home, where the bird-chirping, sun-puddle-napping, knock-it-off-the-table version of your cat actually lives. Choose the session that suits how your cat moves through the world, and I’ll do the patient, unhurried work of capturing who your cat already is.

Calm, Cat-Led and natural
As a cat-obsessed photographer, patience and respect for feline quirks shape every session. There’s no rushing, no forced posing, and absolutely no expecting your cat to “perform” on command. Instead, I work at your cat’s pace — letting them explore, sniff the camera, claim their favorite perch, and settle into the cozy spots where they already feel safe.
Together, we’ll plan a session that reflects your cat’s true personality — the sun-puddle napper, the brave window watcher, the shy soul, the mischievous hunter. Your role is simple: love on your cat like you always do. Cuddle on the couch, or bring out that one toy guaranteed to earn a slow blink or a zoomie. I’ll quietly document the glances, paws, whiskers, and tiny in-between moments you never want to forget.
Choose the Rhythm That Fits Your Cat
OVERTURE SESSION
$275
SYMPHONY SESSION
$395
Both sessions are guided entirely by your cat — the difference is simply how much room the moments get to unfold. Symphony gives your cat three times the time, more than twice the images, and room for up to three cats. Every session is delivered as high-resolution digital portraits — ready to archive, share, and print at home up to 11×14.
Stella Session
This session is reserved for cats who are elderly or facing serious illness, and for the people who love them.
Having experienced the loss of my own cats — Stella, Sadie, Milkshake, Maude, and Sasha — I know how meaningful even a single photograph can become over time. The images I have of them are deeply treasured, and it’s my hope that every cat guardian has at least one keepsake of their own beloved companion.
I understand firsthand how tender and unpredictable this season can be. Whenever possible, I make space for last-minute requests and approach each session with patience, flexibility, and care.
The Stella Session includes the same services as the Symphony Session, with added understanding for the circumstances surrounding it.
Foster Session
I offer complimentary sessions for foster cats in the Evanston area to help with adoption listings and storytelling. Availability varies, but I’m always glad to talk about what might be possible.
Rescue Photography
As a HeARTs Speak member, I offer complimentary services to Chicago-area rescues, including workshops that help staff and foster families improve their animal photography skills (view a sample of rescue cat photography).
Not Sure Which Session Is Right?
The Overture Session is perfect if you want a small, meaningful collection of images and your cat warms up quickly. If your cat needs more time to settle, or you’d love a wider range of moments and personalities to unfold, the Symphony Session offers a slower pace and more relaxed storytelling.

If you’re still unsure, no worries at all—I’d love to chat and help you choose the perfect session for you and your cat.
Your images are yours.
Your portraits are made to be lived with. Every session includes high-resolution digital files — ready for your phone, your desktop, your feed, and personal prints up to 11×14, so you can fill a few frames on your own timeline. For the portraits that deserve to come off the screen, I handle the printing myself. Albums, canvases, and framed pieces are ordered right through your gallery, I proof the color on every order before it reaches my lab — so what lands on your wall looks like the cat I photographed, not a flattened version of your cat.
